The Greenwood Community Food Pantry was established on January 14th, 1986 by the Leflore County Ministerial Association for the purpose of ministering to the emergency needs of residents of Leflore County. This effort provides relief of physical needs by furnishing food items.
The Association coordinates the efforts with the cooperation of the following:
area churches, civic and service organizations, schools, businesses, individuals, The United Way, and US Government.
